The E-Z Streamer:
(Tying instructions)

Step 1:
Hook: Eagle Claw 254SS #2
Eyes: 3/16" CRYSTAL EYES
A) Mount CRYSTAL EYES by holding both
eyes between thumb and forefinger.
Secure tightly by doing many wraps and
figure eight wraps, whip finish and apply
cement (SOFTEX) to lock everything in place.
Step 2:
Body: E-Z BODY LL Small/Pearl W/Black LL
Tail & Wing Flash: Bill's Bodi-Braid Pearl
A) Cut a 2.5" piece of Small E-Z BODY LL, using
a lighter lightly scinge one end of the tubing
and lightly roll it between your fingers.
(this step may be omitted but it does make
inserting the flash material much easier)
B) Remove the hook from vise and insert the
hook into the E-Z BODY LL (place the hook
point into and through the tubing as if you
are baiting a worm onto a hook).
Place the hook back into the vise.
C) For this step you will need a piece of heavy
mono about 10 inches long and a lighter,
match or candle. Take the mono and fold it
in half, melt the ends together forming a loop,
this makes a simple yet effective tool for
pulling materials through tubings.
D) Insert the closed end of the mono loop through
the tubing leaving the loop exposed.
Cut a piece of Pearl Bill's Bodi-Braid about 15"
long and thread it through the loop, this will make
a loop to loop connection allowing you to pull
the material through the tubing.
Pull the ends of the Bill's Bodi-Braid so that they
are even and then pull the mono loop through the
tubing, leaving enough material hanging out of
the tubing to form a tail.
Make a couple thread wraps and clip the loop of
Bill's Bodi-Braid leaving the mono loop intact for
furture use.
Step 3:
A) Secure tubing and flash behind eyes and bring
thread forward securing flash in front of the
CRYSTAL EYES, flash should be facing forward
with one piece on top and one piece on bottom.
Step 4:
Wing Flash: Pearl Bill's Bodi-Braid
Under Wing: White Bucktail
A) Fold the top piece of Bill's Bodi-Braid over the
top of the fly and the fold the bottom piece back
under the fly and secure.
B) Add a sparse clump of white bucktail to the under
side of the fly. Make two thread wraps behind the
eyes to lay down the flash and bucktail.
C) Trim the top and bottom flash pieces of
Bill's Bodi-Braid to legnth and pick them out
to become the flash.
Step 5:
Wing: Chartreuse and Olive Bucktail
Topping: Peacock Herl
Cement: SOFTEX
A) Add a sparse clump of chartreuse bucktail
and secure it in front of eyes.
B) Add a clump of olive bucktail, secure in front of eyes.
C) Add a clump of peacock herl, secure in front of eyes.
D) Trim Bill's Bodi-Braid tail to size and pick out braid
to form a flashy tail.
E) Whip finish and apply SOFTEX to head.
